The San Diego Chapter of SCBWI is hosting a conference, The View from
Inside: A One-Day Conference with Editors and Agents, on Saturday,
March 8, 2008 at the Hahn University Center of the University of San

A
pre-conference workshop for those new to writing/illustratin g for
children begins at 7:30 a.m. The main conference includes faculty
presentations, first page panels, illustration gallery, and Q & A
panel with faculty. Written manuscript critiques, in-person portfolio
critiques, first pages, and an illustration gallery are available for
