Laurie had dreams of being a writer when she was just a kid growing up in Portland, Oregon.  It wasn't until her twin boys and her daughter came along that she decided to "just do it". Between school, soccer, t-ball, ballet, gymnastics, grocery shopping, the PTO, and the "occasional" attempt at house cleaning, Laurie is working towards making her childhood dream a reality.  Laurie writes pictures books and stories for childrens magazines.
